UAE-based businesswomen shared an afternoon of empowerment during Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone’s (RAKEZ) first-ever ‘Women in Business’ Networking Event at its Ras Al Khaimah headquarters.
Creating a platform for women business leaders to connect with each other, RAKEZ invited an international group of female entrepreneurs, which included representatives from Executive Woman Magazine, PR Representation, Stroh Hall Legal Group and Marjan Island.
“There’s a belief that the business world is run by men. This is why women often feel that they have to wear a man’s cape to be successful. However, we’re disposing this idea and providing opportunities for women to step out and step up,” Ramy Jallad said, Group CEO of RAKEZ, RAK FTZ and RAKIA. “The ‘Women in Business’ Networking Event served as an avenue for businesswomen to share ideas, talk about their challenges, and learn from the experiences of other women. We hope that this event inspires them as they go forward in their path.”
The event’s line-up included a presentation that expanded on the bright investment future offered by RAKEZ to investors and a motivational talk by the renowned Life Coach Nicola Beer on how to run a successful business and have a happy home.
Jallad shared that RAKEZ is committed to supporting the UAE’s Vision 2021, which includes ranking among the top 25 countries in the world for gender equality highlighting that “RAKEZ offers women entrepreneurs a fostering environment where they can customise solutions to best fit their business needs while being supported by professionals geared with the right knowledge to help them grow their business”.
