General Assembly 2024, Elevator Pitches and Networking Monthly Networking Event
We cordially invite all Netherlands Business Council UAE members to join us at the annual General Assembly 2024, elevator pitches and networking, on Monday, 18 March at 7 PM GST, at the Ritz-Carlton, Dubai JBR.
Quorum requirements for the AGM
In case a quorum (50% of the voting members and (1) one Member) is not met, the meeting shall be adjourned for (30) thirty minutes, after which if there is no quorum, then those present shall constitute a quorum.
NBC Members wishing to attend the AGM should register through the NBC website or send an RSVP to office@nlbcuae.com, on or before the 15th of March.
After all the formalities that an AGM comprises, there will be time to meet up with other NBC members during the networking drinks and elevator pitches.

Presenting yourself effectively is an essential tool in the business arena. A well-executed elevator pitch can make sales, help generate capital, and lead to valuable partnerships. The Netherlands Business Council UAE would like to allow you to practice this important skill that we consider essential to growing a business. Whether you're just starting out or already have a growing business, we offer you a unique opportunity to take your venture to the next level.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible to participate in the NBC Elevator Pitches, you must be a member of the Netherlands Business Council UAE. We have time for a limited number of pitches and participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis from the pool of applicants. So, mark your calendars and get ready to join us for an evening of exciting pitches and networking opportunities.
Each pitch must comply with the following:
- No props or visual aids may be used (to create an authentic ‘elevator pitch’ environment)
- Each pitch must be delivered by a single individual (no team pitches)
- Each pitch should be no more than 2 minutes in length and in English
- Pitches are not subject to any confidentiality obligation and all presentations will have an audience
- Presentations can be videotaped and photographed for promotional purposes
- Only one representative per company can participate
