NL Business Hub Network partner The Netherlands Business Council UAE and DLA Piper Netherlands would like to invite you to our COP28 networking event, which will be held on Thursday the 7th of December, from 7 PM onwards and will be hosted at the residence of the Netherlands Consul General in Dubai.
Our planet’s temperature is rising. Biodiversity is collapsing. The world’s population keeps on growing. And social pressure is increasing by the day. The urgency for a more sustainable future is both pervasive and non-negotiable.
Dutch companies are also dealing with an evolving world, where making the transition to a more sustainable future is a critical necessity for every business. As part of this transition, ESG expectations and legal framework play a more important role in driving performance and meeting stakeholder expectations.
With great honour, we would like to announce that Feike Sijbesma will be opening our network event as guest speaker.
In his current roles, as co-chairman of the Global Center on Adaptation and co-chair CEO Climate Leaders Alliance, he is involved in tackling the major challenges of climate change. He is a great motivator and challenger who shares his experience and examples to create awareness of the importance that we should all take our responsibility to make the world a better place.
He is one of the best-positioned people to bring us up to speed on the developments during COP and broader.
The opening speech will be followed by networking drinks, during which you will have the opportunity to engage and mingle with other members and guests from the NBC and DLA Piper.
